Monson is really underated, he's coming of some decent wins and has a good streak. He did look pretty overweight in this fight though and as for Kerr...fat as always. Hope Kerr puts up a fight against Lawal.

Monson was the *heavyweight* ADCC Champ in 2005, and won another weight class in 1999, right? Kerr won both the ADCC heavyweight and the absolute tourney in 2000. Hes not a ADCC scrub and we were talking about a fight back in the day, yes? ADCC is not MMA, its a grappling tourney. Monson has not shown that he can compete with elite mixed martial artists in his weight class in MMA events. Period. Your YMCA judo school does not make you any more qualified than anyone else to give MMA opinions.

Wanderlei and Matt Hughes stick out because of their long title reigns, and Sakuraba would need to be part of the discussion because of his innovations and his victories over so many Gracies.
