is about 17 months save the breed !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i love this breed!! i have a 9 yr old male. he is 24 inches to shoulder and wieghs 65 lbs. his fav thing to o is go out to the garden and bite the bees and butterflies that land on the flowers. his name is Gunner.

  • very lovely dogs <3

  • Brilliant! I recently lost my IWS and miss him terribly. I'm a member of the IWSA (UK) but I couldn't even think of getting another as it just wouldn't be the same.

  • These dogs have been known to glide effortlessly across lakes and other large bodies of water.

  • Hi there all the puppies have been sold now to loving families and they are all happy with their puppies. We kept the baby of the litter and he is doing very well. He was 100g when born. Both parents are kc reg and have a good line. All the puppies were hand reared as mum could not cope with the feeding demands of 12 puppies and we were feeding them hourly in the house, all 12 lived. So I would say we were responsible and they had their worming liquid at the correct times. I priced them to sell.

  • I really appreciate this video, because I am privelged to have two IWS living with me and my husband. They are my constant companions and keep me very busy. Slainte'

  • i has two, and i used to think i owned them, now they call the shots lol

  • yeah, they are great

  • They really are! They're so loyal and she would do anything u asked her. She's old now though, and she isn't as curly as most of the dogs in this video... We think she was the runt of the litter cos we got her wen she was 2 or so... she was an abandonned pup :( lol

  • awsome breed have two myself!!!

  • I miss my water spaniel terribly. I'd love to get another one!

  • I'd love to take one but my circumstances are not good right now! Are they KC reg? Any health issues etc. I spent a fortune putting the rehomed one I had right!

  • can i ask why only 300 each? i dont mean to be funny but that seems an awful lot less than the usual!! i know it a good while ago now but i'm interested as i paid over double that for our girl. 300 pound seems too good to be true ( and you know the sayin if it seems too good to be true it probably is..) how responsible have you been about the breeding with these pups? cheers. Steph x

  • They're wonderful dogs. They're hypo-allergenic, so I can bury my face in Abby's (my IWS) furry neck and not get totally sick.

  • A while back I had an unbelievable opportunity of a lifetime to work w/ a breeder in WA. who raises IWS. This an amazing breed! To know them is to love them!

  • There were once four breeds of water spaniel in the British Isles. One was the English Water spaniel. Another was the Tweed Water spaniel (which played an important role in the development of the golden retriever), and it was found in the border regions between England and Scotland. There was a Northern Irish water spaniel that became extinct or absorbed into retriever lines, which is what happened to many water spaniels. The Shannon or Southern Irish Water spaniel is the only one left.

  • irish water spaniels are the best!!!! x x x x
