@deathshadow777 Originally there should have been specials between Tekkaman 1 and 2 series, but it never happened because of different opinions of the directors in addition to financial problems. The revealed special story (Missing LinK) says that Tekkaman blade's body returned to normal in a twisted time-space continuum of the white hole created inside the Tekkaman blade (so basically, his body went against time in the white hole). The special story line also tells why Miki became a tekkaman.

I dont know why they made the sequel, they should of left it with the 1st series because it had a good conclusion especially when blade lost his memories and the commander said that it was best that he should not remember what happened but that everyone else should remember the sacrifices he made to protect the earth (in a way killing his own family).

I feel that a sequel was not necessary and because it had some plot holes and inconsistencies. I am basing this on the DUB versions

There was a short series between Tekkaman blade 1 and blade 2.

Blade goes crazy and Aki which i believe was "star" in the eng dub. Had to under go the tekkaman xformation in order to stop & save blade from destroying the world.

There is also a story about aki & blades son.

It's one of the best storyline animé series. Well worth buying the dvd's.

Hi. There were several miniseries or mini-movies after the original Tekkaman Blade, as well as several variations on the show in differing anime styles. Also a few fill in movie species like Twin blood and " Missing Link" .

" Missing Link" is the one you are referring to.

It should be noted that many of the TB variations had sections cut out , or were in a completely differnet animation style and very different story line.

It's hard to keep track.

If you noticed that in the last two episodes of Tekkaman-Blade -I (North American version) The anime style was different from the previous episodes. You may also have noticed that it was the Japanese OVA Theme that was playing in the background on the English version.

I don't recall eve seeing the "missing Link" in English. Any how it explains , AKI (star), Ringo, Jameeson, e.t.c).

There's no Blastor mode for Blade in Tekkaman Blade 2, but he gets it during the end of the Tekkaman Blade 2 arc in Super Robot Taisen W, you know. ;)

In my opinion they made Blade look like a p*ssy when it came to fighting in TB2.

If he changed in tekkaman plus he would have wiped the floor with tekkaman dead but he probably forgot how to change or no longer able to become cause of the figth with Darkan. (not sure if that was hes name in the english series but his name used to be Omega)

To tell you the truth, I was kinda hoping that D-Boy had turned into Tekkaman Blastor at least once in and whooped Tekkaman Dead in this series. But at least he did beat Dead in the final episode. I wonder if Dead did become a Space Knight after all in the end. And a 3rd series wouldn't hurt with some new characters--wouldn't you agree?

Careful, don't confuse Missing Ling to TB2. Have to admit though, I was expecting a bit more from D-boy and Aki's sex scene >:/

TB2 Tekkamen's designs sucked - they look like elves and how suitable is it to have their hair flying around in combat? How on earth do Aki, Natasha and Yumi (and Dead, for that matter) keep their hair from getting ripped to shreds?!

As for the whole "scene" incident, I can safely say that what I expected from it was for it not to freaking happen in the first place.

Tekkaman Blade II was a mess overall. At least the series manages to find itself in a positive light in Super Robot Wars W; all of the Tekkamen are some of the best playable units in the game, and they've got some sweet animations to boot.
