I bought a USB 3.0 flash drive today to put my music on. The transfer rate was a 10MB/s WTF! I was expecting at least 500. Anybody have any ideas why? I updated my drivers. I have a Asus Maximus IV Extreme MOBO.
@AhKillYu It depends on what your talking about, if you plan on using a usb 3.0 cord with a usb 3.0/2.0 plug in your computer but pla on using the cord for the usb 2.0 device then it doesnt work, if you are planning on using a usb 3.0 device with a usb 2.0 port in your computer it works fine, I currently am using a usb 3.01tb toshiba external hard drive with a 2.0 port and it works just fine and has boosted transfer rates.
no fue 10 veses mas rapido, puesto que la velocidad e escritura de tu discoduro ya estaba a tope y no iba adar mas, ocupabas tener unos cuantos hdd en raid 0

oh usb 3 has a designated usb plug...
i was about to buy one because i thought it was interchangable iwth usb 2 stuff.
