Check out the internals of that AP poll. 44% of respondents were Evangelical Christians. Obama STILL LEAD the poll 46-45, even with that skewed metric.
In 2004, Evangelicals made up 23% of the electorate. Having a sample that has nearly DOUBLE that number makes the AP poll totally implausible.

I just went to the McCain/Palin youtube channel and I looked at the favorites compare Obama's to McCain's and you will realize Obama is more about hope and what America and Americans are about and McCain's page seems more dark and almost every video pic on his favorites is a pic of Obama (obviously not in a good light). Completely incorrect. Polls had Bush and Kerry tied at this point in the 2004 election. Kerry famously said to Tom Brokaw two weeks before the election, that 'No incumbent president has ever won when polling under 50% at this point.' Two days later, Bin Laden released a video, Bush got a bump due to the 'fear of terrorism' effect and the rest is history.
From a 48-48 tie to a 50%+ win for Bush.

What you worry about is taking socialism to the extreme, which is communism and is wrong. Canada and Europe have applied socialist methods for a long time and are well off, US on the other hand is drowning in its own exaggerated capitalism. Please someone clarify this for me, I'm freaking a little. I checked both Rasmussen and the Gallup polls today and Obama was ahead. But then Yahoo news had an article that said he was losing in the AP polls and that he and McCain are now tied. How can that be possible when he has a 4-6 point lead in those other polls?

Check out the internals of that AP poll. 44% of respondents were Evangelical Christians. Obama STILL LEAD the poll 46-45, even with that skewed metric.
In 2004, Evangelicals made up 23% of the electorate. Having a sample that has nearly DOUBLE that number makes the AP poll totally implausible.

I just went to the McCain/Palin youtube channel and I looked at the favorites compare Obama's to McCain's and you will realize Obama is more about hope and what America and Americans are about and McCain's page seems more dark and almost every video pic on his favorites is a pic of Obama (obviously not in a good light). I hope I am wrong, but I feel that those that are in power will not let go easily, and they have very low morals so I predict that the Republicans will steal the election, again by a very small margin. Maybe it will all come down to Pennsylvania this year. Hearing a lot of about that state now in the news.

If Obama wins Colorado or Virginia I garantee he wins the election. He will lose Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Missouri. So should focus on virginia and colorado.

McCain needs atleast FL, OH, VA, NC and CO. Out of those 5, Obama is pretty much got CO and VA in the bag ATM. FL, OH and NC are neck-and-neck.

I think that if McCain won,it would send a very distressing signal to the rest of the world. Because of the situation today and the disgusting way with which this race was run, many countries would be exceedingly wary of dealing with the US.
