Great picking and of course there is evidence that during the late 20's and early 30's Gibson was not making new F-5's but rather finishing up the glut of partially completed instruments made during the Loar years. So that mandolin may have started life in the early 20's and was finished up when an order came in a decade later! (<:

And.....the finish work is very 20's, a person who knew the craft. Not varnish, but tasteful lacquer work.
