Will you check out my quality tests? (Halo 2, Halo 3 and Splinter Cell Conviction non-HD) I think you should just use ULead Video Studio. But the quality is pretty good.

i have got a easycap but it does not record in colour how did u get it in color?

We don't use splitters. But yes if you dont know otherwise. We're making a video on how to do it without Splitters.
