Nice vid, nice flying. I like the website too...expect an email soon, am in the process of buying a Nervures: Swoop, am ex-skydiver, but prefer the groundhandling of paragliders...unless you have some advice. Btw, keep up the goodwork !
Cheers mate. I got a lot of flak off XC paraglider pilots over here saying I shouldn't be doing it when I started a year ago but I stayed civil and just carried on doing what made me smile. The local club even tried to ban it outright but they had no authority as the sport is not legally regulated over here. I think they are coming around now. Its grate fun!
Is there a difference in the type of glider used for cross country gliding and speed gliding? Also, just wondering, did you get any training, or did you just buy your glider and go fly it? I'm really interested in paragliding, and thought someone who owns one could tell me about it. Thanks!
Hey man looks like you done that a few time iv got like 30 skydives under my belt and winters commin here so ground launchin in the alpine just wonder what kind of rig your using there?
The wing is the Skim12 by a French company called BioAir. The harness is the Speedflyer by Gin. If your after a good canopy to start out on and something that is more what your used to (skydiving type canopy rather than paraglider type canopy) i would say go for the Gin Nano, they come in a 10-12-13 and 14m2 and use the harness i mentioned above. The whole setup would cost you about £1000, not sure what that is in $. Good luck!
Thats insane! Looks like an easy way to get yourself in a hospital! Or killed!

what wing is this?

The Skim12 by Bioair Technologies. They do it in a 15 as well. Its a nice wing, very good glide for its small size.

Very nice find for a flying site, and a good landing area to boot.
