I am an ex a lot of things as far as religion goes. The main reason as to why I am a Christian is because, no other religion to me, is able to answer what is the meaning of life. There is no possibility that our world and universe just poofed into existence. Look around you. Do you honestly believe that your mother, father, child (if you have one), brother, sister, home, sun, moon, stars, life, animals, conscious thought, love, hope, joy, emotion, all came into existence without a creator of some sort. That is my main reason to be a Christian.

Because of personal experince and revelation. I tried to explain it in the vid and its something that is completly personal and can't make anyone eles experince. Nor do I feel it give me the right to force my faith upon others either. I can explain it but as with any personal experinces its personal and I can't transfer the experince.
Good for you. It seems that you actually tried to learn about other religions before picking Christianity. Either way, you should read The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins. There's a chapter about why personal revelations are nothing more than your brain trying to make sense of the unexplainable.

Hello, thanks for responding. I am not trying to attack you as a person, i am just curious. Actually after viewing another vid of yours, you seem to be a quite nice guy.
What I am trying to point out is, that I have the impression (and that is why I asked these questions about mosques etc.) it could have been any religious community to impress you and make you accept their believes. Do you just enjoy to be part of this "family" or do you think realy you found "truth" in christianity or both?

When I was a child, I was also spoon fed on what to believe. It wasn't till I got older that I truly felt the Love of God. God shown himself through Worship. Through the Worship, I came to realize the personal relationship. The friendship I have with God. I found that I could come to Him during good times and bad times. I always sense His precsence and know that to me, He is Real!

I was searching for that reason that made you Christian and nothing else, but you gave reasons that could even be found in other religions. You mentioned devotion and commitment to God. Muslims are the most devoted to their God in the planet. Sometimes they are so devoted, that they could even die for a bad cartoon of their prophet.
Dying for a cartoon is not devotion to Islam, dying for a cartoon is devotion to stupidity. I know a lot of Muslims and NOT ONE of them, made a big drama out of that badly drawn cartoon. Another thing i would like to add, Jesus gets depicted in cartoons and movies all the time. Do you see Christians attacking the Southpark studios for instance. And i'm talking about ATTACKING! NO! Yes there are extremist Christians, and they share the same ignorance as the Muslim ones.
Dying for a cartoon is indeed stupid, but it does not cancel the devotion. People died for a soccer game in UK, that is stupid, but you can't deny thier devotion to the game. The 2 adjectives Devoted and crazy cannot be contrasted, so my argument stands. Furthermore Christianity is the least devotional religion, nothing is needed except to believe that Jesus took the responsibility for your sins. No actions needed, no fasting, no prayers, no charity, all is optional. Buddhists are more devoted.
