This is perfection. It goes beautifully with evanescence with the contrast of Amy's sweet/beautiful voice with heavier guitars and lyrics. The lyrics also go really well with Emily Browning's character- "without a soul, my spirit sleeping somewhere cold", "Breathe into me and make me real" LOVE IT

basically you know how anna kept saying rachel was a murderer who killed 3 children? the girl across the room from her was the murderer..and thats how she came up with the whole story...make sense? :)

to put a long story short. her "friend" was a psycho killer and killed an entire fam to get to the husband. the husbands wife had a pearl necklace.(that was in the past like early 90's) now anna thought rachel was the killer and killed rachel who had the same necklace. thats why anna believed rachel was the killer cuz when she "killed" the fam back then she stole the necklace and that was gonna be her proof. but all in all anna is crazy and killed rachel who was completely innocent. make sence?

anna didnt kill her sister, she was getting gas to set their house on fire because while her mom was sick her dad was cheating on her with the nurse tht took care of her, so the gas leaked and when she slammed the door the candle fell, the little beach house next to their real house exploded killing her sister and mom. the event was to hard to take so she avoided it and hallucinated and made herself believe her sista was alive. and so she killed rachel because her dad cheated. great movie.

In a fire a few years ago, Anna accidently killed her mother and sister. Her Mum was sick with cancer I believe, and her sister was inside. Anna set the place on fire and had to go to a psychiatric ward. She thought her sister was still alive and talking to her. Racheal didn't kill anyone, but Anna's sister (the memory of her, anyway) convinced Anna that Racheal murdered their Mum and was after her. Anna killed Racheal, but Racheal didn't kill anyone.

anna didnt mean to kill her sister. she never meant to start the fire that killed both her mother & alex. but after that, she started imagining everything - her sister being alive, matt being alive, rachel being "evil" and the only person she intentionally killed was rachel but anna was obviously not stable. she's crazy.

anna killed her ss accidentally she intended to kill her dad wth only a bucket full of gas cz she found him cheating on their mom wit rachel..n the gas faucet ran n the lanter fell n the mom cale alex to help her n the whole shed exploed with both alex n the mom....completely irnic n unintentionally done by anna.....if tht helps u?

The part where she finds out her sister died, and looks in the glass and sees her own reflection that was one of the best parts.. not really scary but gave me those chills down my back =P

Just imagine someone you grew up with or a good friend you known for awile... all the sudden doesnt exist anymore.... That would be HORRIBLE like 'a shot to the heart' type of feeling... =(

This movie is a remake of Korean horror movie called A Tale of Two Sisters...I think that one was a lot better but this one was still pretty good. After watching that one, this one doesn't seem too confusing....but that one was a hell of a lot scarier. T-T

In the rehab in the beginning, Anna spent time with the real Mildred Kemp who told Anna her stories. I figure the stories, spending time with the murderer kemp and the anger Anna felt after discovering her dad was cheating on her mother with Rachel was enough to push Anna over the edge and kill Rachel. And Anna hallucinated her sister who Anna thought killed Rachel, but she realized it was her all along.

Yep pretty much how i think about it aswell. All of the symptoms almost make it out that she was a Schizophrenic.

And at first when coming out of the Ward... she WAS normal but after listening to Racheal and her 'mind' (Alex her sister) she started going 'crazy' again and thats why at the end you can clearly see she was happy with what she did.

Her sister was only in her head. Anna was still crazy when they let her out. She killed her without knowing she did it, she thought Alex did it. If you look back through the movie, no one except Anna acknowledges Alex because she isn't really there.
