This episode kinda epitomizes the selfishness of Frasier, he doesn't allow Niles any accolades, though he gets his own daily. He also high jacks the 15 minutes of someone else's show instead of using the last 15 of his own show. Frasier always wants to be a good person, but typically isn't.

Watch 17.30 to 17.42 and the way Frasier's fork goes from one hand to the next without him moving it as the camera angles change. I didn't realise there would be that much editing in front of a live audience, unless they had stopped doing live audiences by then, because in later shows as the quality deteriorated I'm sure they started using canned laughter.
