  • very creative

  • Good for NASA

  • what motors

  • O_O J'adore ! trop dingue

  • not 100%lego

  • its great for catching snails :)

  • is anyone else reminded of the truck they use in the special beginning of "Aliens" when they go to the bone ship

  • super tout-terrain mais super lent

  • good job, slow but so flexible like the nasa robots in mars...

  • search ebay for "26lb LEGO LOTwith Mindstorms nxt parts and more"

  • Thats really cool! :) Thumbs up!

  • trop cool

  • Voted down for using a none lego motor

  • IT looks like the center is sagging down between the wheels.

  • where do i get this differentail gear? :( i broke mine

  • WOA slow down there!!

  • Pretty cool, nice job !

  • I dont get, how thsi got so many views, its way too low, it bends in middle and it has non lego motors...

  • @Zblj1987

it only shows how resourceful and smart he is

he made that with out lego motors, bet you can't do that huh?

  • @McBlaise Are you being sarcastic? Check my channel.

  • The planetary gear suspension is win!

  • wow nice suspension its easy yet efffective

  • you should switch the gears around a little to make it go faster

  • too slow but good looking

  • cool

  • wow a whopping 1 mph!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @pfuntner duh

  • could it be any slower?

  • just as a hint, lose the tires and put tracks instead, that way u have more ground surface contact and also it wont be splayed out as much, and more narrow,i like it , good build!! dam that video is almost 3 years ago, this build is probly long goneby now....

  • looks like very nice torque!

  • its turning fast but going slow

  • génial

  • Comment removed

  • It appears that he has it geared down for torque/control. slow but steady... :)

  • what kind of beast is that????

  • FUN!

    xD

  • Hmm/ The wheels are very splayed out. That thing is broken LEGOs waiting to happen.

  • it is nice but to slow :S but why do you use normal engins and not the lego?

  • Too slow. Nowadays everybody thinks things have to be slow to have torque. People, you don't have to make it so slow. It is boring. But, I still think this is an awesome build. 5 stars.

  • @catattack998 its a gear high ratio so it wont have to use much power to climb or pull something. plus less speed you dont spin the tires

  • @cobraman897 boy, when i finally read this (as i had never checked my inbox before) I thought "Damn, I totally was a jerk!" I re-watched the video and loved it. times change, and so do people.

  • Comment removed

  • @catattack998 Its called trial truck you idiot! -.-

  • @catattack998 ok, i was a jerk. I do love it and it sure isn't as slow as a bajillion others ive seen.

  • lol it conqures all!!!

  • Very interesting use of non-lego motors, four mabuchi motors, 2 RS360's and 2 RF500's if I;m not mistaken. Can't say as though I've ever seen two different size, speed, and power motors combined into one differential unit to balance out the power, very intersting indeed. Don't pay those haters any mind, you can use whatever motors you feel like using. I do!

  • i use it all the time. you can't just hook them onto one single shaft, and you cant really use different gear ratios because each motor has a disticnt torque and acceleration curve. so the solution is a differential... i came up with that idea (i'm not saying i was the first.) a few years back when me and my dad wanted to build a two seater bicicle. =)

  • I usually use 1 size motor at a time, 380, 385,390, or 395 made by Mabuchi(very good motors for Lego use). The 390 size motors are good because they have relatively low rpm's with awesome torque, the 380's have high speed lower torque so I gear them down a bit, another good size is the 280. If you have an Ebay account, check ebay they have a good selection from time to time

  • you should make a tank frame for it.

Put some little weapons on it :)

MAN I'M SO EXCITED JUST THINKING OF IT

add like match rockets and smoke bombs on it XD

  • too slow but impresive i give you 4 and a half star

  • i love the shocks

  • i like teh rubba band drive belt system

  • That's awesome. I loved lego as a kid but we never had the technic stuff, and certainly not the advanced stuff you can get now. Well Done!

  • Excellent work! Have Aerospatiale seen this? ;-)

    5/5

  • because i don't have regular lego motors!

Belge

  • faudrait mettre du nitro !!! lol

  • cool...

  • coool :) i like it

  • really great work, i bilt one of that sort, too but mine is 10 times faster and has weapons systems (yes, I like wheel tanks)

can your design drive curves?? mine cant ^^

  • nice! i like how you used the diferential to hook the two motors up. I ll definitly use that in my designs.

    5/5

  • What is the music, please?

  • Linkin Park

    What I've Done

    Great Song ;-)

  • what i've done linkin parc

  • wow

  • just need to fix the gear ratios and you could get it to go faster with little loss of torque or power

  • seems to me its meant to go slow

  • ya, most ATVs r slow for max torque.

speed is always fun, but if ur looking 4 max torque, then slow is the way to go....lol

  • Way too slow. I've seen so much better.

  • now what the hell has the clutch size to do with anything?

You mean gear ratios, clutch is what you use when you wanna seperate the engine from the gears.

  • Maybe whe should send this to mars :)

  • Whant the name of the song?

  • linkin park - what i've done

  • dude that sick, but what happeneds if some leaves/dirt/etc gets in the gears?

  • You should have created individual syspension systems... :P

  • eight wheel drive thats sick

  • its still lego but just modified

  • pretty cool

  • nice it slow

  • nice but so slow you see the motor going 90 to nothin but you still move like a snail.. lol

  • Not very impressive. No offence but half the thing isn't even lego. I'm sorry but I can't stand people who put screwdriver moters and stuff on a chasis and call it lego. It's just unoriginal.

  • You know, I find it amazing that they can use these motors and have it actually fit and work on the vehicle.

  • look at that thing listing!

  • awesome!!!

  • it's beautyful ! good work

  • very very very cool

  • Too slow but so damn good!!

  • that things got a lot of torque

  • I like the Sonic title screen :)

  • half of thats not lego

  • yes it is. The only non-lego I can see are the rubber bands. The rest of it is the newer lego technic without studs

  • you have to be retard to think that the motors are technic!

  • Well I didn't watch the whole video, and at first glance they looked like the new PF motors. I stand corrected, the motors are non-lego

  • wat is the song

  • linkin park what iv'e done

  • linkin park what iv'e done

  • song?

  • very awesome.

  • cool wen i wil bee home frome holyday i wil maka a robot like this whit nxt and belts.

    a+++

  • very well made there m8 im gonna try build a tank soon. its gonna be fun

  • at 1:09 that thing hit like 60mph, lol, pretty cool just knowing its made out of legos though, nice vid!

  • Look at it. It's heavy as fuck. He needs to keep a low gear ratio to maximize torque.

  • awsome, i couldent make anthing beter, but you should try gearing it so it goes a bit faster.

  • slow as can be

  • Super, c'est sympa aussi le LEGO !!!

  • damn i love that music is it from trick or treat?

  • hmmm... trick or treat? is that an album by linkin' park?

the song is 'what i've done'

    hop it helps!

  • no its what i have done from Linkin Park jeah

  • its a discrace to lego!

  • becouse there are nonlego motors

  • 1- the normal lego motors cost to much

2- tey don´t have enough power

    3- they break to fast

for example i have built a lego motor from a dremel and it works nice!(it burns whell rubber) yeah! but also gears and stuf...

  • LP, XD

  • I like how the rubberbands are used.

  • thats awesome and GREAT torque

  • But it cant KIL ME!

  • ok well mayb the rpm isnt that great, but the torque must be pretty good

  • worm gear?

  • Don't call it Lego Technic if you use custom motors to drive it.

  • GENIALE 21/20

  • very well done! awesome

  • Sloooooooow

  • Sloooooooow

  • great effort on the truck

  • cool but a little too slow. suspention was neat!!

  • I love how u incorporated a motor that wasnt made by lego. I used an rc car motor and put it against a lego tire like a spindel on a goped so it was a direct drive between the motor and the wheels so that no energy was lost between the transfer of power from the motor to the tires and the car hit like 0-14 mph in like 2 seconds except the tire got obliterated from the motor.

  • Song: Linkin Park - What I've Done

Also, very cool crawler-esque truck :D

  • what is the name of that song and hue wrote it??

  • nice 5/5 but it could use have more ground clerance

  • looks awesome, but does it need some oil on all these moving parts !-)

  • nice

  • Geniale comme engin

  • great but i think its maight be narrower

  • do you have translation?
