Michelle Yip english is really good that you can hear it of yourself. I´m so impressed of her english of a girl who is living in HongKong. So similar of her voice and Michelle Yip !!!!!

Strange how she all of a sudden developed a British accent during this interview. I've heard her speak English many times and she's never had a British accent. What a faker.

Are you kidding? Do you even know what a British accent sounds like? I would say it sound more like a mainland accent which carries that north american twang.

But the twang is alot stronger in the beginning and fades towards the end but yet still noticeable.

I've traveled to London at least 5 times in the last 10 years so yes, I do know what a British accent sounds like. I was referring to the fact that she was "trying" to fake a British accent (unconvincingly so).

I'm sorry but i beg to differ. I live in the UK.... notwithstanding, there are so many different types of english accents... but definitely not the queen's english.

@djonutube Yeah, I don't think it sounds British at all. I doubt she's "faking" an accent. I met her in real life and her English really sounds like that. I think it's because she's been in HK and China for so long and seldom uses her English so her American accent isn't as good as it use to be.
