  • Bohemian Rhapsody:

    Liverpool, 11/14/1975 - Knebworth, 8/9/1986

  • this is definitely the sadest moment in rock history...when freddie could sing his rhapsody for the last time in his life

  • Wow, you can see that beautiful moment when he stops at 4:35, i think he was saving the moment, the last time he sang it....

  • "Goodbye everybody, I´ve got to go, gotta leave you all behind and face the truth". Yeah, the last time he sang that words, and the only one it was really true. very sad.

  • excellent point...how sad

  • its a shame this is proably some of the best quality shots of the concert :/

  • i believe that is some audience members singing along.

  • I was there! Got hold of this recording on VHS same year, i.e. 1986. Ah, memories!

  • This is the last Rhapsody: RIP FREDDIE

  • Only the goods die young...

  • brian made a mistake, hilarious to see the look on freddie's face. Queen is legend

  • When?

  • at 3:50 but it could also be the poor sound quality...

  • loL? he is laughing actually cause Brian was improvisating.. look exactly!

  • Freddie's Final Rhapsody...

  • so good...what year was this?

  • 1986.

  • Is this Queen last live performance?.

  • Yes. This looks like a pro-shoot from the angles, as they filmed the whole concert, but the cameras didn't have tape. This is confirmed by Brian May.

  • God, that is kind of sad... (that it's the last concert).

HOW it's possible that the cameras didn't have tape...?, what irresponsibility, whoever was in charge... so the concert isn't on tape?.

Thanks for uploading, by the way.

  • The answer is very simple, and very embarrassing. It is one of the biggest blunders in our history. The cameras were rolling, and visuals of the entire concert were relayed to the Idaphore screens simultaneously with the show.

All it needed was for someone in our team to put a tape machine on the end of either the screen mix or the cameras themselves. No-one did.

    From Brian May himself.

  • Thanks for the quote.

It would even be funny, if it wasn't the last concert...

  • I don't know how funny it would be, as it's in Queen's Top 10 Concerts, in my opinion.

  • Well, alright, maybe it wouldn't :).
