"Goodbye everybody, I´ve got to go, gotta leave you all behind and face the truth". Yeah, the last time he sang that words, and the only one it was really true. very sad.
The answer is very simple, and very embarrassing. It is one of the biggest blunders in our history. The cameras were rolling, and visuals of the entire concert were relayed to the Idaphore screens simultaneously with the show.
All it needed was for someone in our team to put a tape machine on the end of either the screen mix or the cameras themselves. No-one did.

this is definitely the sadest moment in rock history...when freddie could sing his rhapsody for the last time in his life

Is this Queen last live performance?.
Crisstti 3 years ago
Yes. This looks like a pro-shoot from the angles, as they filmed the whole concert, but the cameras didn't have tape. This is confirmed by Brian May.

God, that is kind of sad... (that it's the last concert).
HOW it's possible that the cameras didn't have tape...?, what irresponsibility, whoever was in charge... so the concert isn't on tape?.
Thanks for uploading, by the way.

From Brian May himself.

Thanks for the quote.
It would even be funny, if it wasn't the last concert...
Crisstti 3 years ago
I don't know how funny it would be, as it's in Queen's Top 10 Concerts, in my opinion.
Queenfan81 3 years ago
Well, alright, maybe it wouldn't :).
