Of all the bands of that period (1965-1970) Steppenwolf did the best job of combining Psychedelic, funk, and straight ahead rock and roll into any song they chose to "jam" to! That video did an excellant job of illustrating the "turned on" mindset that permeated those times. When you compare Steppenwolf to the hairbands of the '80's and early '90's Steppenwolf was clearly ahead of it's time!
