Good job, whoever made this! It looks just like Raccoon City as seen in Resident Evil 3, only from a First Person view. Kudos!

Naturally, we have a heap of comments asking for the Tank to be modded into Nemesis, but I'd like to see an enemy Survivor modded into Nicolai too. An enemy who shoots back would take Left 4 Dead's intensity to a whole new level. Bonus style points if we get a showdown in an ATC tower with Nicolai in a helicopter, too. :)

It would be cool, but sadly...Resident Evil will have the more horror feel. L4D has everything running to you, so it's not as scary as walking slowly and looking to your left to notice a Zombie's heading towards you. You got only 3 shots on your Pistol and you can't find any herbs of first aids anywhere. xD

Actually not much fun. I've been experimenting with the thirdpersonshoulder command, and it's not much good. In order to shoot with pistols, you actually have to aim the cross hairs 15 degrees to the left to hit the target. The shotgun isn't so bad though, due to the spread.

But, aside from looking around corners, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yeah, for one thing there are no zombies, only angry mobs like in RE4 and RE5. You should make them look like actual zombies or at least make them slower and do more damage. You could do a hunter/smoker hybrid and appy the texture of a licker. And yes-Nemesis for tank. For the boomer...? Something.

It's been done, type in L4D skin mods. if that don't work than it's not too hard to create a character from scratch. Do that then delete the beforehand character and substitute your own. Doing all of this and you might as well make a console game yourself. But hell, that's what modding is for, gaining experience before entering the industry.

God I miss the days of a good scary Resident Evil. With actual carriers of the zombie like virus; the t-virus. 4 and 5 was good but just wasn't the same. I'd give anything for them to remake 2 and 3 like they did with the first Resident Evil for Gamecube. Or Hell actually make a game like the old ones. You don't have to use the t-virus. you can use a new one. And still use the new monster's but make it horror not shooter. RE was never meant to be a shooter..... it was always meant to frighten.
