It is 16 beats long, divided into 4 segments of 4 beats each.

here both dhe re and dhe are played with base drum... I think he cuts out the re in the 2nd dhe re

I might be entirely wrong though

That is not sitar that he is playing. That instrument is called Tanpura. There is a big difference between those two instruments.

it is not sitar.. it is called thamburi in south india.. it is used for tuning.. or keep ur music to keep it in a same tune..

ta treke dhit te tay gina dhati gina dhina gina then you play it exactly the same but replace the treke dhit te tay with dhir dhir.

When he starts the rela its dha tit kit gire tir tir kit tik dha tit git tik dha tit git tik

ta tit kit kire tir tir kit tik dha tit git tik dha tit git tik. gire is ge o the bayan and the left side of the palm with the index finger.
