Audi S2 version with 690hp from 2010 season rev up to 8000+rpm,if you check
his videos carefully you will see that rev limits differ from race to race.
Version for season 2011 with 750hp from 2.2 20v inline 5 engine,rev up to 9800rpm.
(His brother car),Audi S4 have engine built on diesel 2.5 block,and his max rpm is set up lower.

@odzadze123 As I said, the rpm counter shows incorrect rpm. The rpm limit is 8000rpm. You can also here a BIG difference between 8000rpm and other 5-cyl that really revs 9-10k. For example, Jonus green Audi 90 have rpm limit to 9000rpm, and you can clearly hear the higher rev. 10k is quite rare to see and is often 86.4 crank on dieselblock with 155mm rods to manage the pistonacceleration when reving that much.

This rpm counter have 10 digits,also this is original 3B engine with preserved displacement ratio,and we know that they are also capable to rev up to 10k,. Remember Dahlback 2.1 inline 5 version,which is capable to rev up to 11k with no problem at all.
as i said 690hp version from 2010 is limited to 8k,but improved version for 2011 with 750whp can rev up to 9800rpm,but in few events in 2011,this car is driven with lower boost,on lower max rpm(via Autronic SM4 engine managment)

@odzadze123 The reason that I said it revs to 8000rpm is two. First I spoke with Alm over phone and he said 8k rpm on the 2011 one, and that sounds like the others. Also it does absolutely not sounds 10k. To reason's and the first one should be enought. If you prove I'll believe but I don't see why Alm should not know hos own car and my ears wrong after listening to many houndreds of these five-cyl.
