This map does not make sense.

The bar height should represent the population density.

That means the volume of each bars represent the population sizes.

There are only twenty-something million people in Australia, all because of the Great Sandy Desert.

China have 1 child policy, over time, population will drop. But it is worrying for India.

Chinese had that 1 child policy since the end of seventies and their population did not drop on the contrary it increased for one third (or roughly 400 millions - the whole population of USA) since then.

And Chinese are getting richer so they can pay for the fines for extra children.

Europe on the other hand is dying out.

@TheDmora: Yes, it sure is a good thing that the Chinese government is kidnapping pregnant Chinese women and giving them forced abortions and sterilizations. And just in case they try to hide their pregnancy, their neghbors get cash rewards for reporting the unauthorized pregnancy! It's good to see a government taking such strong steps to protect the environment! If only India would start doing the same...if there is one thing the planet does not need, it's more brown people being born, right?

@capvideos1 I did not mean to be racist. I am not against brown people since I am one. I guess racism is in the mind of the victim most of the cases. I do critize the way of Chine to control the birth rating is awful, but a worst action is the one that is not made, like in India. I guess that education in the people and breaking links with religious concepts about the use of anticonceptives would be a better way, does it?. Sorry If my comment has affect you!
