very nice job...i am a aircraft mechanic for a airline and i can only wish to have what you have...verynice job and i am very impressed...but for future note skytroop is right you start #1 du to late inbound bags and one other reason i cant remember right now, but way to go on your panel bro!!!!
Aside from the panel in the video, what will really make your flight sim experience rock, is adding voice control.
Try something called "Multi Crew Experience" voice control for FSX and FS9 and see what I am talking about. Since a completely free 7 days demo is available for download, technically all you need is a headset with microphone. LOL :-))
Nice,....One point of procedure. Operationally the left side engine is started before the right. This is because the baggage compartment is on the right side and it gives anyone working there a chance to finish up and get out of the way before that engine is started. Love the panel resting on the wall to the right.
no sir your wrong. its actually right to left because the baggae control finish there job quickly and the jet ways or airstairs are on the left where passengers get on. that is why its starts off right to left.
Rubbish ejasonk. Depending on the airline's operating procedures/aircraft OP 1 and 2. But to facilitate later baggage arrival, or DC power engine start which supplies DC power to only 1 of the engines igniters and start switches, then 2 and 1 or 1 and 2. Or external air start, manual ground operation of the start switches, aircraft procedures etc also determines which engine to start which for some use 2 and 1 1st. Of course if you were a REAL pilot you would know this already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats an incredible OH, very very close to the real one, does the pressurization gauge work.? I work as an instructor on 737 NG sims, gotta say yours is so close to the real thing I had to look twice, well done mate.
great job,but seems so complicated.Nice to see greek simmers pass to the nest level.A tutorial and info about building cost e.t.c would be great.Keep up the good job
taz did you knock yourself on the head or sumthing? There are loads of people in eletrical engineering or take aircraft maintenance courses. Those people can build these easily as long as they understand the concepts and relationships between the gauges and so. Many of these relationships are explained in books.
man i am boy but i like planes i like computers and i like tecknlogy and i have thought of the idea of a cockpit like that but could i get a ready made one and u could give me some tipsman plze and did u make it urself and are u gonnah dd a tv and flight sim with it????????
The real start switches of the Boeing is over 1000$ per piece. There are many ways to implement them in a home cockpit but haven't the time to make tests. Manual return to OFF position is used also in the real aircrafts in case of malfuction of the solinoid. So I am not so far from reality
I know that. How much is the OVRHD panel running you? I'm looking at flightdeck solutions and cockpitsonic USA for my build. Are you going to buy the entire 737shell and build you a beauty? If so, please make a Vid. history. THis way future builders will know what to expect. So far, this vid show more that enough how great the panel is versus the images from the site.
where is the weapon status console?

The Bleeds are OFF and the PACKS are ON. You shouldn't be able to start that way. It not a true setup.

Hey is it hard to build these things? I think they're SO awsome! I want one but I think its too expensive and it takes a while to build right?
Also isn't connecting everything confusing?
thanks

You can buy them ready made at flight deck solutions and yes, very pricy. Some are USB plug and play so... :D

Just like the real thing, but at the fraction of the cost.

if you want to make a SIMPLE home build simulator
try to find an old key board and hack the key board then you can use the commands to make a autopilot unit or what ever you would like.

In none company of which I know the left engine starts first at 737. Always 2 and then 1.
Only on Airbuses the sequence is 1 2 ....

can you please tell me where you got this stuff from please
brain208 2 years ago
well,
there are no baggage loading procedures during engine start !
the engines start after activating the beacon lights and when the beacon light is blinking : go away from the aircraft!
i´m working in a loading team.

NO enginestart.with stairs in the aircraft area!! loooool..
ejasonk 2 years ago
one more thing:
we everyday start engine no1 first (for example when gpu used).but usually engine start during the push or just after lining up the departure taxi.
we start engine 1 on ALL a/c. 737,A320,metroliners,ERJ,AvroJets etc.
no matter, prop or jet. first engine 1,second engine 2.

Using PM software and IO Cards. PM stands for Project Magenta

My ovhd is from the best manufacturer IMHO this time. FlyEngravity. I am not planning to build a shell for the time being due to space limitations.
