This is shocking. If you blur your eyes just a little, it looks like you are watching the real thing! Where can one find the crossing signals like these?
ZOOM!!!! What model railroading is all about. Nice job. Just one scene makes it look so realistic without gloating about the entire layout on a camera and no tripod.
I remember going to the old Conrail yards here in Chicago with my dad when he was hauling piggyback trailers. There was the yards at 47th street,51st street and 63rd street. He used to haul loads out of Elk Grove IL from the Osco warehouse to the 63rd street railyard. The bridge at 63rd street was too low for trailers so he would have to get off at 55th street and run the gauntlet down state street to 63rd street.55th and State was right in the middle of the Robert Taylor housing projects.
@thissitesucks74 He wouldn't even stop at the stop lights on State street. The cops would even watch him do it because they didn't want to stop for anything in that neighborhood either.
Yes I know its wrong as CR Never mixed DC and AC locos but the club layout had hills so I didnt have a choice, LOL I just say its ded in tow and not running, LOL
awesome auto-racks and con rail locomotives nice layout. ps next time you make another vieo like that make sure the trains come in a littel bit slower
I wouls like to incorperate those crossing gates in my own layout. Where did you get them or did you kit-bash something? My father an I have a couple of ideas on how to kit-bash something like this.
Beautiful set up and filming! I run a paper modelsing group at yahoo. Called Paper_Models. The link is on my channel.
This isnt an ad but an invitation to the group. We have all scale train models FREE. If you dont want to build it in paper you could always use them as a pattern for building in wood etc.
your video was perfect I was expecting to see the and truck go across after the train passed.Today less of these rail cars are weathered because Railways are making huge profits.Excellent
Excellent Video! All you need is sound in the locomotives as it aproaches the crossing. Also those Autoracks could be weathered as most Autoracks on the rails are HEAVILY weathered and have LOTs of Graffiti. I saw maybe two that looked kind of weathered. Fix those two I suggested and you will have a perfect realistic video.
Those crossbucks are outstanding. I looked them up to see how much they were because I have to get a few sets but it looks like i`ll need a second motgage on the house! LOL
wow thts really nice!

WHATS THE DIFERENCE OF HO N O??
helloween1987 4 years ago
They are all different sizes
Ad15Mo 4 years ago
HO is 1:87 scail, and N is a bit smaller. O is the bigest of the ones you mentioned. It realy dependes on the size of the space you are modeling.
monkeyonatable 4 years ago
hey i just wanna know.... whats better? O or HO?
thetreeregimovies 4 years ago
HO is is THE BEST, most railroaders use actually its like 70% of railroaders that use it. Its the best because it is realistic the most.

HO hands down. :)
