I don't really know. A one sided drum that's played under the arm, in Persian, is called "zeer baghalee" but this one looks like the bigger of the two drums of a tabla set that's been turned on its side? I don't think the 'zeer baghalee' has the versatility of sound that this drum has.

No, its Southern Turkmen spoken in Northern Afghanistan, mostly Arisary. I think the same tribes live in Iran as well. He has a bit of a lisp but its different from the Tekke dialect spoken in Turkmenistan.

I really enjoy, thanks a lot RoyaMoyaSoya. Arisary tribe nowadays live in Lebap welayat of Turkmenistan. Actually Lebap mostly populated by arisary. Teke tribe live in Ahal & Mary welayat, it's the most powerful and big tribe in modern Turkmenistan. There are 24 tribes in turkmen nation, and as I found in scientific literature, Arisary tribe is one of the most ancient tribes of Turkmen nation. Used to be very powerful in Seljuk era.
