This is why Jazz drummers hate rock n roll. The drummers always concentrate on speed. Who cares how fast you can stroke a stick. I think the best drummers are the most creative ones. Also, I notice all these "fast drummers" only do 1-2 minute "solos". I know that the best drummers "conduct" their "orchastrated" solos 2 hours into the concert. IN the 80s I saw the most ridiculous solos: drummers that play upside down. That is the stupidiest thing ever done on drums.
