Johnny Depp is amazing - somehow, I can't see him anywhere when he's playing Edward. He and Edward look facially different (well, they would do).

I've watched the film so many times and am amazed/ never boredwith watching it over and over. The acting isamazing and Tim Burton is an amazing director.

I heard that, when Vincent Price's character dies in the movie, he actually was having a heart attack.

Also, when running from the police, Johnny Depp actually passed out at the end because of the heat and the fact that he had to lose weight for his role.

I don't know... interesting facts...

he died of lung cancer in 1993, three years after this movie. he had long suffered from parkinson's disease and emphysema, which made his role in this movie much smaller than he intended. i hope that helps you.

Not to mention if you read up and meet with people who knew Vincent personally. his wife left him around the same time he died. A friend of his called him and asked "How are you?" and Vincent replied, "Not so good," and they had a conversation about her. He really loved his wife. That alone can kill someone's spirit. With the lung cancer and that on his shoulders, I can only imagine.

I guess Edward was a robot based off of the chopping robot in the lab and was slowly made more human...somehow. Edward is partially human. He would have been completed, but his creator had a heart attack before completing his lessons on humanity and giving him hands.

At least, this is what I think.
