Hi, I built mine today. I tested it hovering vertically and it wants to pivot clockwise? I put the batt on the right and pointed the motor down and to the right. Any Ideas why its doing this? Thanks
@ChappersSP It's called torque. No matter what you do with the thrust alignments, this is going to happen 100% of the time in a hover. This is why you counter with ailerons. OR you can follow through with the torque roll. BTW, get rid of the thrust alignments, they will only ruin the way the plane flies.
Have you taken a look at the foamie market? 90% of all foamies are made of Depron. It's a very strong material, that resists deadly flex, and makes great airframes.

@greatplanesman Thanks for that. With thrust alignnments do you mean the way the motor is positioned?

@ChappersSP yes. The motor should be pointed straight and true.

sorry, never thanked you for your answer how crash resistant the foam is...
thanks

EPP doesn't suck at holding glue. You have to use the right glue. Hot glue, and medium CA with kicker are the best.

Those little pellets are compressed styrofoam. EPP isn't really watertight, and is expensive.

Yes, I know that EPP is very flexible, sometimes too flexible. Coffee cups are made out of compressed styrofoam, not EPP ;)

Thankyou.

Nice flying and Nice RCT3 Song :)

Depron is a very strong, but slightly brittle material. In a crash, it will break, but it is easy to reapir with foam safe CA.

thanks for putting it on the net...i am looking forward to get one myself. i am not the best pilot in the world though...how crash resistant is it?
thanks
