best theme is arguable. A lot of games have good soundtracks (Portrait of Ruin, Aria of Sorrow, Super Castle IV and others) although I realllly like the soundtrack of OoE.

Best character art is also arguable

Best heroine : yes you are right, but it's because theres not that many heroines to begin with lol

Most stuff to do: i dunno, collecting souls and collecting items in Aria of Sorrow was a handful. I liked the idea of quest in this game but it was a bit boring, repetitive.

Dusk's holy mark is, as far as I know, the translation of the Japanese name for this song. An Empty Tome is the english-speaking countries's name.

The funny part is, even with all the stages, Dracula's Castle STILL was bigger than in Portrait of Ruin XD.

But still the castle is short in length compared to older big versions like Symphony of the night. Mainly because the structure system and the fact you have already got most helpful abilities (except for paries and Volactius) before you even enter the castle makes things too short. I liked OOE not because of the gameplay which is getting old really now. But I liked it because of it's Art values regarding coloring, art drawing style, dark atmosphere and some good (but rare and short) cutscenes.

One of the best songs in the game. To be honest, I'd been kind of disappointed with the music from a lot of the games, but the last half of OoE really got the blood pumping. Go Michiru!

What I hated was that this song was played in the Library...which, with the recurring enemies and level design, could've made the stage an extension of the Entrance. Gah. If only the Library had its own theme...

Good point, but I just remember not being ready for this theme to end when I got to the library and I was pretty happy they kept it. This theme made the beginning of Dracula's castle completely epic... Along with Shanoa's CS2 quote.

Exactly right, Aqui2222! It's my favorite kind of music. Castlevania(s), to Metroid(s), Mario games, and Megaman and many many more....so many more...Classics like Bubble Bobble as well. Alot of people just don't understand that it is indeed REAL music, with REAL choirs, orchestras, instruments and even lyrics...These are the people who don't play games and think that it's only comprised of bleeps and bloops like pong.
