Nope I guess. 5.03 Gen C (Full) already has all the components. Use ISOTool in that case.

I have Custom Firmware. It's an old psp model, and its old CFW, some work now, but i had to use a HBL to enable HBs again. Dont get how it got disabled though

It will work...but why dont you update to 6.35 PRO-# CFW? It is much more stable and supports alot more homebrews as well as ISO/CSO games.

Extract it and put it in the PSP-GAME folder. Start from PSP and then press then select your ISO with the D-Pad and then start or decrypt or something. I don't exactly remember. It is easy but I don't get this why aren't you using 6.20 PRO-Bx and moreover its permanent with recovery menu.

Did you try with the latest ISO Tool? For those who don't know, ISO Tool is a homebrew which lets you decrypt latest games to make them work on your PSP. Try using search engines and find more information if at all you are interested.

Sorry bro I got no idea about the recovery menu. I have a PSP 3k with 6.20 TN HEN, so never really saw how the recovery menu works. BTW, why didn't you try this method?

First upgrade to Prome-3 v4 or Prome-4 and try. If it still doesn't play games which are new then try using the latest ISO Tool 1.963.

@sahudude ok listen I fixed it like this...I went to the recovery menu and then I selected Run program at /PSP/GAME/RECOVERY/EBOOT.PBP and then I selected Advanced configuration and there I disabled the first two options...

then I played vice city stories (cso) and it begun just fine but when I started the story the gameplay was slower than normal and sometimes was stucked a little bit so I can't enjoy the game...any advice? (sorry if I screwed the eglinsh language)!!greek guy here!

There are double answers for it. I mean, the old software i.e eboot extracter which is provided in the descp. solves the issue for 5.0X and the new Prometheus module works for 5.50. Check it out because, I have OFW so I can't check.

dude...this is only for CFW and not for OFW... and moreover I think this doesnt work with the HBL

Just upgrade to 6.35 and use PRO-x LCFW. Works and great and doesn't even get this error.

anytime man ... but actually they have updated the site and made a new method of solving this error. When, I uploaded this video, they gave a different method in which they gave us a homebrew by which we can patch the ISO's to run on earlier firmwares. The homebrew name was Eboot Extracter 2.8. Google for it and you will get it.
