I actually did. in the maps there are only a few tribes here and there of the kurds. they never had a land of their own. no government, no nothing. they were Bedouins. each tribe didn't know about the other. they lived in their little own world. and moved around to where ever they could feed their animals.you must understand that claiming a land you don't have the right to will always mean wares. it is like the state of israel.
