Maria Lauterbach was killed here in Jacksonville, NC (Onslow Co.) by a Marine co-worker of her's named Cesar Lauren. Look it up! He fled to Mexico, we extradited him back here, and he was convicted and sentenced to life. She was 8 months pregnant at the time of her death. Very sad story.

Cesar Armando Laurean is because he is an immigrant from Mexico serving in the United States Marine Corps under a immigration Visa. His parents Salvador Sanchez-Laurean and Elvira Ramirez de Laurean are both Mexican immigrants as well who purchased a home in Las Vegas in 2002 and then sold the home in 2006.

This woman deserved to be protected. She was harassed by her fellow Marines for being brave and coming forward with her allegations.
I worked at an N.C.O. club and saw how female soldiers were treated. How many rape victims will see this case and decide not to come forward. They deserve better.
