Very moving and heartbreaking. The music that accompanied "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" spoiled it for me too though. It should have been as beautiful and poignant as the rest of it. Very moving and heartbreaking. The music that accompanied "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" spoiled it for me too though. It should have been as beautiful and poignant as the rest of it. Racism is wrong no matter who believes and practices it. Racism is what caused all of these crimes to occur. The American Indian fought wars of conquest among them selves, had POW's and slaves, although it was a lot less frequent among them that with White's it still happened.
All groups and races have in one way or another have done things that are wrong, not just White's.

How did 4million die if 15k Cherokees were on the trail? I think the numbers are somewhere around 40-50k were relocated on the trail and 2-6k died. Maj Ridge who signed a treaty approving the land swap was a tribal leader, similar to "speaker of the house".

During the time of the relocation of the Cherokee people, the U.S. and all other nations operated under the premise, "To the Victor Go the Spoils." As foreign as this sounds to us that was how warfare was engaged. If we were to make reparations to the Indian, we should also make restitution to the British and give them their captured land back.I don't see a lot of pity for the red coats we defeated and then took their lands. The only thing that I have to say that is wrong about this vid is that it tends to show that the Cherokee were the only ones on the Trail. Choctaws, Chickasaw, Cherokee, Creek and Seminole were all removed. The Choctaws were the first to be sent to what is now Oklahoma. All of our Tribes suffered during this removal.
