Incredable, I love it. always wanted to know what a Jen sound4ed like. and I'm not disopointed. Your really good. I really enjoyed it. keep it up. Thanks for posting. LOL .
Is that the built-in arpeggiator on the DW8000 when you first start hitting that synth? Thinking of buying one today or tomorrow, not having had any experience with them before, and I'm curious about the arpeggiator for something so old (not that old is bad - Jupiter still rules the arps)
I just started playing keyboards and don't know a whole lot about sound modules yet. I was wondering if mixing brands works well. I have a Korg Triton Extreme, would a Kurzweil K2600r or PC2r work well with it? I've always loved Kurzweil sounds.
it's a jam, dude, not a polished composition. for a jam, you gotta give the boy credit for keeping all the plates spinning. After all, he could have just had an arpeggiator playing that left hand part but he choose to do it properly. when you watch these things, i guess you have to look at them from the right perspective. we both know the truth is a lot more could be done with everything all the time, always
on the left: jen sx-1000. on the right from the top: roland pc-200 (painted blue, control a kurzweil k2600r out of the screen), novation xiosynth 25, korg dw8000.
I recognise the Jex SX1000, I had one of these til my brother fell out with me and tossed it out a 1st floor window. It did not survive. RIP Jex Sx1000...
i've used logic express for the drums (audio pre-recorded) and the xiosynth (the first synth i play)...i've played on it only for the first part, after, the midi sequence from logic starts...basically is a loop of what i've played...for the korg dw8000 (bottom) i've used a damper pedal and the arpeggiator works for me :)
can you tell me pls how to make "the midi sequence from logic starts" ? did you setup it in xiosynth? from USB, or from disk? how did you get that Logic's midi sequence to work in xio-synth?
and also, did u have to program first the arpeggiator (is it that 'fantasy very ice-y' cool sound?). how did u do it?
si bra bra...:)

Apparently someone doesn't know how to progress his music into something beyond two separate chords.

Are you just looping them on each keyboard or do you have an additional piece of hardware? Like the Boss RC-20XL, or some app?

the xiosynth is a synth, a controller and an audio interface. i've just hit rec on logic.
the arpeggiator plays notes of chords that i played. the sound is a classic 2 sawtooths pad with 0 attack.
