To my understanding Ezekiel 4:9-15; Ezekiel is told to prepare bread using cow dung as fuel (perhaps after he complained when told to use human waste). Cow dung is useful in many ways (here in africa, western part of Kenya) one being smearing of the earthen floor to prevent it from wearing out and forming dust. @Znobyrd Christians take the book the Bible as truthfull statements and accounts. These kinds of scriptures are from the ancient books such as Genesis, Exodus ect ect. If you are going to take segments from these books that all talk about the same God and present them as truth, then you need to beleive the rest as well. You can't pick and choose what parts are truthful and which are not because you don't agree with them. It's either all the truth or all bullshit when its on faith alone.

But understand, God discussed with these people that they would not follow the simple agreements He had made with them, so He then gave them an inferior earthly priesthood. Our relationship with God could then be restored IF we are willing.

@hardcoretam I could be offended by atheism, but I know the main problem is they have never gone in prayer and just simply asked if He (God) is real, and if so, will He show Himself to them in some way. The evidence is only found in this way, and man, when you see it, you will know without a doubt it is real. To my understanding Ezekiel 4:9-15; Ezekiel is told to prepare bread using cow dung as fuel (perhaps after he complained when told to use human waste). Cow dung is useful in many ways (here in africa, western part of Kenya) one being smearing of the earthen floor to prevent it from wearing out and forming dust. @TheCommandModule "the" history? are you implying that you're following one book's account of all mankinds/earths history when the fossil record already proves that the earth is older than the bible's claimed 6000 yr age? I agree with the part that you say that the Bible is a means to correct ourselves and exemplify morals. There are several open holes in the biblical history however, and we should accept outside historical references, cross examine and then determine what is plausible. Thanks.

The Bible has good examples and warning examples in it . The nations that practised lawlessness and immorality arent around anymore. As for the bible record ...its history written in advance. All ancient prophecy came true. Therefore we can have faith in all future prophecies as well. Its the course of wisdom to read it and make neccesary changes to your life to harmonize with Gods will. @Znobyrd Christians take the book the Bible as truthfull statements and accounts. These kinds of scriptures are from the ancient books such as Genesis, Exodus ect ect. If you are going to take segments from these books that all talk about the same God and present them as truth, then you need to beleive the rest as well. You can't pick and choose what parts are truthful and which are not because you don't agree with them. It's either all the truth or all bullshit when its on faith alone.

@hardcoretam Truth yes, and the same exact God, yes. But understand, God discussed with these people that they would not follow the simple agreements He had made with them, so He then gave them an inferior earthly priesthood. Things went south from there. This was why things were so ugly in the old testament. He then told them He would make a new covenant with them which has a priesthood straight out of heaven. Our relationship with God could then be restored IF we are willing.

@Znobyrd This is my problem with religion and why i am offended by these statements. I live in a country that is not secular. The religious majority is christianity. I have people making claims about supernatural dietys and having the country founded on these beleifs. These claims about God ect have never been proven. This is why i have a problem with religion. You're making claims which affect my country and thus my life but cannot provide any evidence to back up these claims.

@hardcoretam I could be offended by atheism, but I know the main problem is they have never gone in prayer and just simply asked if He (God) is real, and if so, will He show Himself to them in some way. The evidence is only found in this way, and man, when you see it, you will know without a doubt it is real. I was once an athiest / agnostic, but it all changed when I said the name Jesus in a prayer and asked Him to reveal Himself. Trust me, He is alive, it's no joke.

@gromby I have seen many lives saved and healed by Jesus. Mine included. When I wrote He said "seek me with ALL YOUR HEART", we have to ask, is there anything in our heart like malice, greed, unforgiveness, etc., that would get in the way? Try to purge yourself of these for awhile, then go back and show this to Him, and ask Him again. If you are against HIm when you approach Him, of course He won't answer.
