MST3K - Best of "The Castle of Fu Manchu"

To me, the best part of the Castle of Fu Manchu, are the host segments. The episode starts with them throwing a frollicking band party which eventually degrades into a pre-suicide cry fest.

There are so many reasons to hate this movie. First, the opening scene of this movie was actually stolen from the climax of the previous movie in the series (how cheap can you get?) Then they introduce Rosalba Neri as some sort of awesome androgynous ass-kicking character, and they do nothing with her! She dies at the end like a little bitch. They don't even let her die in battle! Unforgivable!

Re: the color issues

I've heard rumors that in Europe the distributors hated the washed-out blur this flick is so much that they had monochrome prints made (!) to hide it.

"Castle of Fu Manchu" killed off a semi-decent series of period B-movies about the character, all starring Christopher Lee as the title villan. This was the one they goofed on, because they hired one of the most inconsistent schlock directors Spain ever produced.

The director of this film, Jess Franco, also made the acclaimed Vampyros Lesbos, and went on to make the infamous Count Dracula, also with Christopher Lee.

what the hell!? you cut out the bicycle seat joke!!!!!! It was the dirtiest joke i've ever heard joel say on the show (and the whole reason i watched this). very disappointed. The way servo cuts him off and scolds him makes the joke freakin hilarious

In my opinion, this movie is worse than Monster A Go-Go. The plot is less put together (if you can imagine that) and there's less of a story. They're both right at the bottom, but I feel this movie edges out Monster A Go-Go in the badness category.

Maybe I've got a soft spot, because this was the first MST3K episode I ever saw, but I've always loved this one. REALLY terrible movie, but the riffs are great, in my opinion.

This is one of the worst and i like em' BAD. Christopher Lee, Jesse Franco and his bizarre unmotivated zooms, Fu Manchu and it still reeks. It is impossible to follow or care about.

I have similar problem with WILD WORLD OF BATWOMAN, SIDEHACKERS, GUNSLINGERS and few more. Such a shame becase I love MST3K so much
