Don't you think this Rene guy (the actor's name is Michael Raymond-James) would make a much better Sam Merlotte...he even has those PUPPY EYES! Anyways, love him as Rene, till the very end. Though if he played Sam the Dog, he probably wouldn't be given that bombass Cajun accent, but at least he'll last longer on the show. Gifted actor. Look forward to seeing him more in the future playing likeable roles that showcase his natural charm (he's played bad guys too much). Best of luck, Michael!
