Black Friday: Is basically, another way for people to get off their asses and go shopping! Can't they do that all year round? Hmm...? I mean just because, a lot of these stores have "huge deals" does that make it any better? No, I mean... I thought Christmas was all about being around family/friends not some sort of competition where you've got to buy the better item then so-and-so who cares? You can't deny a genetic predisposition. I agree with your argument, but it seems to you fail to realize that genetic predispositions for certain 'traits' is very real. The environement will certainly help shape these dispositions (as you mentioned).
