you say something like 'a Cadd9 chord' but i can't find it (:

Cadd9 is a G chord except you move your index finger to the D string 2nd fret

and your middle finger to the A string 3rd fret

thanks, the tabs are not wrong, i just modified them to allow use of a capo which is much easier for beginners

hey man, yeah frusciante plays it withou the capo so he has to play a more difficult fingering of chords, i added the capo to eliminate the barre chords he uses

cadd9 is the chord name, its basically a 4 fingered G chord except move your pointer and middle down a string so its x32033

very good, but i play the intro a little differnt, like i hold the C chord and play like you, 543423, but then 5th string second fret, then 5th string open, then 6th string 3rd fret, 2nd fret, open...i think its sounds more like it, but thanks for the lesson, its very good
