If you like FF yes it is. Those critical reviews on X-Play and such are like biased to towards Japanese style games. The best source is a actual Japanese review. They know there own stuff. Famitsu is what I go off.

What you have to remember about critics (especially X-Play) is that, yes they're biased, but that's because they review on their own preference, or opinion if you like, of how they see good things in games. They do know their games, otherwise they wouldn't be critics. I watch X-Play for the laughs, but I don't refuse to play a game because of a low rating, if you like the game, then good, play it.

Looks like any other Rpg game that you find urself listening to the same battle music, same fighting music over and over, and the run down monsters u fight a billion times.

on the other side of things--i hate it when developers spend too much money and resources on making a game look "next gen" in whcih case the story, character development, music, and 'feel' of the game turn out to be sub-par. not all next-gen games are supposed to have cutting-edge graphics. An analogous argument would be to say that japanese anime should all be rendered in 3D instead of 2D drawings/cells.

I'm willing to bet Sakaguchi pulls out a better game than Tri-ace does with Eternal Sonata. Sakaguchi is a legend of the jRPG world, every game is good. Every game he's going to release sounds good, and Blue Dragon is scoring 9's in reviews. It's very hard to beat a game scoring 9's.

Guys, I think we should be happy that Sakaguchi is producing good games for us. This is the only game that will top almost all games in xbox360, at least for me. I'm willing to bet Sakaguchi pulls out a better game than Tri-ace does with Eternal Sonata. Sakaguchi is a legend of the jRPG world, every game is good. Every game he's going to release sounds good, and Blue Dragon is scoring 9's in reviews. It's very hard to beat a game scoring 9's.

Guys, I think we should be happy that Sakaguchi is producing good games for us. This is the only game that will top almost all games in xbox360, at least for me. But I don't know about the rest of the xbox360 gamers. I've always loved turn based RPG games with cool and touching CG movies. Sakaguchi our producer!!! Nobuo Uematsu our music composer!!!
