This is just ridiculous! A man created this movie inspired by the Silent Hill series, okay. And you guys have the rights for your opinions, if you like it - fine.. but insulting the official movie or homecoming is completely different thing. Those were both produced by Akira Yamaoka, one of those who brought you this world.Not to mention all the other members of Konami who participated in creating. This fan project probably deserves some praise, cause I realise how much of an effort was made.

I remember finding this video, three years ago, and I had to come back to it. Truly the best fanmade Silent Hill spinoff I've seen. It captures what makes SH scary, even more than the recent licensed stuff does (cough, the movie and SH5, cough).

I was in awe when I first found it, and it's still immersive now.

I'll offer my opinion if you don't mind.

Fatal Frame is more 'scary' per se. It focuses on a different innovative, chilling horror experience. Silent Hill on the other hand might not be 'scary' in that sense, but it is a whole lot more disturbing. SH focuses on disorienting you, showing the dark, gritty, and psychological side of horror. Both are great, but, imo, I prefer SH since it has alot of disturbing symbolism and depth to it, and delves into the flaws of the human mind(specifically SH 2).

This is how the movie should've been like; it's more or less perfection. The music settings are downright perfect, the visuals are strongly executed, the pacing and the narrative are excellent, and the dialogue is intriguing and well-written and there is character development. But most of all, it's extremely suggestive, disturbing and highly psychological. The creator behind this should team up with Christophe Gans' visual talent and replace Roger Avary's disturbingly awful script.

...I can't commend the creator enough for this, it truly is a work of brilliance. He should definately be brought on-board and involved in any future Silent Hill productions.
