and like mkxylplk, I, too, tried to post on his post, but I think it won't be apporoved by the biased, CalBears. The Truth about Cal; their campus IS messy compared to Ucla's. The neighborhood around the campus ISN'T nice compared to Ucla. You don't hear much innovations coming from Cal unlike Ucla which the internet was discovered and such. Ucla has 100 titles UNLIKE Cal. If anything, they should be happy that Ucla has put the fight song on the map.

Wow, as a person born and raised in Southern California I can honestly say that I chose Berkeley over UCLA and over Stanford because I did not want to live in a suburb with manicured streets. ComeStains, after three unprovoked Cal hatred posts, I sense more of an inferiority complex. In any case, I hold Berkeley and UCLA in high regards because they both provide high quality education in a public education system. Also, just FYI, the internet was NOT invented at UCLA.

The internet was not invented by UCLA (or any one institution as a matter of fact), but the first successful communication between two computers was between the computer at UCLA and the computer Stanford. I also happen to love these manicured streets; I do not like the filthiness that surrounds Berkeley; it reminds me of my hometown by U$C. I do agree that both UCLA and Cal are great schools though.
