I am a troll hunter with herbalism and alchemy, I started playing at 8 and really enjoy the content on my Tauren Druid healer I found healing has gotten easier than tanking somehow, which was a problem because with my troll hunter as my only level 80 I was barely able to afford it, and now it's just going to be sitting there doing nothing...
The reason I say there needs to be a 3rd vendor is because (like in my case) I have already out geared the justice points gear. I am item level 333 and all the justice points gear is to weak for me to use. So instead of giving me access to the best of the best gear make me climb the ladder and earn it by first letting me have gear that is slightly better then what I have now but enough that I can get into raids with.
I agree about Valor points not be giving for 5 man content. I think they need to have another vendor there right in the middle of the two that are already there. I think Heroics (5 man) should earn you Hero badges. The hero badges would be taken to the afore mentioned vendor and the gear would be slightly better then Justice Points gear but not as good as raid gear.
I do disagree with the farming etiquette. I think it is VERY rude to swoop in and still a node when someone is right next to it fighting something. Personally I'll message someone close to one before taking it, or at least give them a chance to finish their fight before I swoop in...a little courtesy goes a long way. Now if they are of the opposing faction that's a different story :p
Im gunna point something out here about valour, what is stopping them making a currency above valour thus making it so the people getting 210 fine seeing as it going to be outdated gear anyway

@craggyd1 To make things simpler, just download a program called "Curse". It will list all of the addons for WoW, even in a top 100 downloaded way and will implement it into the game for you.

In a matter of minutes a player can level a banking alt to, say lvl 5. A tiny while more and you're on lvl 10. That's a very small investement for a player to make once but a spammer will find this infinitely more frustrating. Repeatedly so.
I leveled my banking alt up to 5 so he could do basic leatherwork from the scraps my mains sent him. I believe it was worthwhile. I would go as far as disabling trade chat for characters of any level lower than 10.
I think they are trippling the VP's due to most people who cant do raids. Beacause if you dont have a certain amount of dps people get frustrated 3 quaters of people wgo play wow are complete dicks and wont even let people learn

My wife uses her treants all the time to distract mobs to get her herbs.

When i played with my guild ToC was harder than Ulduar, we had completely cleared 25 man ulduar about 2 weeks before the release of ToC and we could only down 2 bosses on the first night of 25 man ToC.
I dont see why you dont think its fair to get 70 VP for doing 1 random heroic in a day, considering how most people wont let you in to raids unless you have some epics, 70 a day can be some peoples only way of getting epics

i think for the new raids opening (an all that) i think that every other major pach, they should release the next raid or (set of raids). that way most major paches go live in 2-3 or even 4 months...so thats a long time for raiders to get even the heroic gear if they are having truble with the reg...an for the pach inbetween the raid releases.....release some new 5 mans..or even make an alternitave raid...(somthing for the advanced raiders) like a super super hard mode(i know that sounds kidish)

@Eceoes On that point, I would agree, at least when it comes to members of your own faction. I tend to just skip over nodes that are clearly claimed by fellow Horde players, despite the fact that I KNOW the vast majority of them wouldn't, as I've had dozens upon dozens of people try to mine nodes I'm already mining.
When it comes to Alliance players, I take a certain joy in stealing nodes, especially when on my tauren Druid, and they have no chance whatsoever to get herb nodes.
My guild is currently working on heroic nefarion and is close to fully clearing raid content though we have to push through the hardest of hard mode bosses now. Release of firelands in 2-4 weeks would be a huge blow to us right now. Barely any guilds have seen lady sinestra and it would be a shame to have barely any guilds try or kill her in current raiding tier.
I also think its a combo of both ulduar not being out long enough and lolToC making ulduar obsolete not just one factor.
the first gild to clear every acheivement regarding current content did it just a few days ago, so yes, there are many people out there who haven't cleared the current content yet
I don't think it would be have been a good idea to release firelands in 4.1.
there problem was that they called it 4.1. if they had called it 4.0.9 and never brought up firelands then it would have been much better and barely any would complain at all.
just pretend this is 4.0.9 and that 4.1 will come out between 1-2 months afterwards with firelands and were all happy.
Its just coming up at 3 months since cata launch and people want firelands already? clear current first then go to firelands.

Fact is, herbs/nodes are a free for all - people will steal them if you don't jump on it right away. Especially in Uldum, where competition is very high. As previously stated by Tarou, CC your mob first, then loot!
Pretty obvious what blizzard is doing with 4.1: they feed casual players with valor points to make it easy for them to max out their gear. Having uber epic gear they will be a little overequiped for the existing raid content (non heroic at least), so that every even braindead player should be able to clear it. this makes perfectly sense with the delay of firelands and ensures more ppl experience the content already in game.
@kyuelol Please stop acting like you are a proffessional, Odd's are you are a "casual" player, its not the causal players that blizzard is "feeding" its the bad players, I'm casual i play whenever i get time, doesnt mean i need free valor, within 2 weeks of cata i had full raid level gear, I'm casual, it is the players who are like "I cant get gear its too hard :'(" that is who they are feeding not people who dont strictly play wow.

i think for the new raids opening (an all that) i think that every other major pach, they should release the next raid or (set of raids). that way most major paches go live in 2-3 or even 4 months...so thats a long time for raiders to get even the heroic gear if they are having truble with the reg...an for the pach inbetween the raid releases.....release some new 5 mans..or even make an alternitave raid...(somthing for the advanced raiders) like a super super hard mode(i know that sounds kidish)

@Eceoes On that point, I would agree, at least when it comes to members of your own faction. I tend to just skip over nodes that are clearly claimed by fellow Horde players, despite the fact that I KNOW the vast majority of them wouldn't, as I've had dozens upon dozens of people try to mine nodes I'm already mining.
When it comes to Alliance players, I take a certain joy in stealing nodes, especially when on my tauren Druid, and they have no chance whatsoever to get herb nodes.

I always ask about nodes before and I find it almost funny when I'm battling a silly mob and someone swoops down and nabs my herb.
Usually a druid.
Makes me think of that Father Ted episode when the crows kept stealing Jacks glasses :p

but then Ive never had a strong desire to do crafting in WoW.

My guild is currently working on heroic nefarion and is close to fully clearing raid content though we have to push through the hardest of hard mode bosses now. Release of firelands in 2-4 weeks would be a huge blow to us right now. Barely any guilds have seen lady sinestra and it would be a shame to have barely any guilds try or kill her in current raiding tier.
I also think its a combo of both ulduar not being out long enough and lolToC making ulduar obsolete not just one factor.

I don't think it would be have been a good idea to release firelands in 4.1.
there problem was that they called it 4.1. if they had called it 4.0.9 and never brought up firelands then it would have been much better and barely any would complain at all.
just pretend this is 4.0.9 and that 4.1 will come out between 1-2 months afterwards with firelands and were all happy.
Its just coming up at 3 months since cata launch and people want firelands already? clear current first then go to firelands.

Fact is, herbs/nodes are a free for all - people will steal them if you don't jump on it right away. Especially in Uldum, where competition is very high. As previously stated by Tarou, CC your mob first, then loot!

Pretty obvious what blizzard is doing with 4.1: they feed casual players with valor points to make it easy for them to max out their gear. Having uber epic gear they will be a little overequiped for the existing raid content (non heroic at least), so that every even braindead player should be able to clear it. this makes perfectly sense with the delay of firelands and ensures more ppl experience the content already in game.
