The 30 mile run is done only once as a test. The 24 hour straight is no joke it is for real. Yes it is dangerous, that's why masters back then are very respected. Mestre Acordeon had to go through it. Today to become a master you don't have to undertake the 24 hour thing. It is an option.

Truth is that being a ninja involved not just learn hand to hand combat, but also everything you mentioned but even more. They also have to learn how to combine both. They also have to know all forms of weaponry, and be able to do things most people cannot do. Still today there are rumors of actual clans still alive and teaching and raising ninja.

And several times I have gone without food and water and did exercise for more than 24 hrs. A lot of wrestlers and boxers do that to make weight or to shed stubborn fat and stubborn water weight that will not go away by any other means. I did it when I wrestled in high school.

@Waterman117 ....I didn't say every single day. I was listing tests done at various ranks, and also things some of them do once in awhile to check how far along their skill is coming. The 30 mile run is done only once as a test. The 24 hour straight is no joke it is for real. Yes it is dangerous, that's why masters back then are very respected. Mestre Acordeon had to go through it. Today to become a master you don't have to undertake the 24 hour thing. It is an option.

@Waterman117 Well the art of fighting in ninjitsu itself is called taijutsu and it is a stand alone art that many samurai also learned. Truth is that being a ninja involved not just learn hand to hand combat, but also everything you mentioned but even more. They also have to learn how to combine both. They also have to know all forms of weaponry, and be able to do things most people cannot do. Still today there are rumors of actual clans still alive and teaching and raising ninja.

He bragged about having a green belt in combatives, and how is is amazing and down sized traditional martial artists, and modern combat martial arts like Krav Maga and Vovinam made mainly for war, urban warfare, and guerilla tactics. Alot of these are illegal in the ring but work nicely in the street. So I pretty much beat the guy with Krav Maga and Capoeira. He went down fast. Combatives is good after Green belt. Not before.

@Waterman117 I've been in martial arts since I was 5. And the Green Berets don't have much on the various branches of the IDF, Spitznaz, and so forth. And many armies actually look for soldiers who are martial artists that have practiced certain arts like Ninpo/Ninjitsu, Capoeira, Dambe, Budo, and such when wanting to training assasins since they already have such training and knowledge and they know how to use anything as a weapon. I've gone against a green beret a few years older than me.

He told me that there is actually some very small amount of evidence that suggests that some schools of Ninjitsu are foreign in origin because of the wars between Japan and Korea, Japan and the Ryukyu kingdom, Japan and China. I bet that Choson Ninja is of one of those schools, and is just using the word ninja as a way to connect. The ninja museum in Japan has some of this evidence.

I showed his videos to a friend of mine that became a shodan at really young age due to trainging in ninjitsu from when he was really young, and he told me that the techniques shown by Choson ninja are for real and not half baked, and that they are of a different school of tought that isn't exactly Japanese. I asked him if it's American, and he said it's not. It's a totally Asian school of Ninjitsu.

@nimbla1 If you read up on Korean Centrism you will realize that the Korean Historians have been re-writing the history that they teach their kids in school for a long time trying to make their young believe that they are more important and powerful in the world than what they really are, or were. The Koreans were a race of followers. They would follow whatever powerful country occupied them, now they want to be powerful and are re-writing history to cover up the truth!

All I know is Choson wont allow any negative comments on any of his posts. If you notice ALL of the comments on his posts are his people kissing his ass. Who was his teacher? Has he ever fought for real? I asked these questions & he wont respond. I know nothing of Japanese history but he sure talks a good game. Maybe he is for real but he will have to prove it if he realy wants the respect of his peers not just his followers.His organization seems more like a cult than a martial arts school.
