I agree - thgough it could just be the valve position - perhaps I haven't got it quite right yet - but it certainly prefers one direction over the other.
Thanks Amber - yes as soon as I can make a compact boiler I reckon a boat or vehicle might be the way to go :-) In the meantime it is a great stationary engine!
thats a hyper little thing

Actually I did steam some milk - before attaching it to the engine. And it worked well. But I prefer it as a boiler for teh steam engine :-)

Ey mate just out of interest, did you steam any milk with the steamer, and was it any good? haha sorry, nice machine by the way.

The timing is just a little off, but thats OK I usually like my engines to run better in one direction than the other.

It is odd how so often model steam engines run better in one direction than in the other?

Nice little engine! I like your steam boiler! LOL
Now you just need to put the engine in something like a boat.

Heheh - yes I suppose it does look a bit that way. The pegs are just to keep the steam hoses connected rather than valves as such :-)

Wonderfully Heath Robinson - I love the peg valves ;-)
