RMXP Tutorial - Using Tilesets

@kttiram Lol, best of luck to ya, there are several ways you can go about using a ship event. I recommend experimenting...that's how I found out how to do half the shit I can do now o.O

My tileset has a grey background to it, and when I put it on the second layer the grey makes a square around it.

How do i prevent this?

You have to make sure the tileset is in PNG format. Then when you import it, select the transparency as the gray color.

make sure the file is bitmap or PNG,when you import it,look at the bottom of the popup screen,you'll see tranparent color and semi-transparent,left click on the colour of the background in the image of the tileset,and import,the grey colour should be transparent =)

@justin900 use the passablility option to the side. Sometimes RMXP is bugged, and it won't read for some reason if you've already done it. You might have to start again...

Great vid! I was lookin on google image for a port town image and the water wuz that wierd type but it was sorta transparent cause i could see a wall under the water. Do you know how to make tile transparent?
