I just personally think they should have someone that knows about cars and not just is able to be controversial just to fit the part of Jeremy Clarkson. It just looks like they took people with similar personalities as Top Gear and are going to do it "American Style" and not be original.

I dunno if you listen to his morning show, but he's came out and said that that is exactly what they're doing. Convince the execs over at American Idol to "mix it up" a little bit and they'll call you crazy. Pop Idol made the Brits a bunch pounds and American Idol made the Americans a bunch of dollars. People find a formula that works and sticks with it, especially when taking concepts from the English
