Though I am a proud supporter of the Canadian forces, I have to say I think it was shamefull to have fought in the Boer war. I guess we did not have much choice at the time but still.
I must say I'm offended by the people here who condemn and hate the people who voted down this video. This video honours people who have fought and died so that people may have the freedom to say what they wish to say. My Grandfather and cousin are among those numbers. Let them have their voice, it's their right. It's also your right to vote this video up and promote it on facebook, twitter or where ever else you can think of. Go to rememberence day ceremonies. Do positive things to honour them.
I am proud and honoured that I was given the opportunity to spend the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month on the beach codenamed Juno in Normandy, when a short day before my group of fellow students had visited and spent several hours at Vimy Ridge and Beaumont-Hamel.
Jews have hated germans since they started fucking slaves and got kicked out of their religion for shameless fornication defiling their blood and breaking the covenant. They started americas slave trade, the fed and the crusades which continue to this day. Germanics(most white people) are the israelites of the bible which is why we still speak hebrew derived languages and spread the bible among many other signs for those without fear.
thank you who served to protect us. from world war one. from world war two. world war three. and the afgan war i will remeber you soilders. in memory of justin lee

What an amazing & moving video tribute to ALL our servicemen & women, both past and present. TY for all the time & effort you put into making this. I will be sharing it with all my world-wide friends on FB and most importantly, my 10 year old son. Lest we forget..........
Great vid, but I think the number of Canadians who served in Vietnam is a tad high. I've googled several sources, and the consensus is somewhere between 20 - 30,000. But all seem to agree that 110 Canadians were killed over there.
@racecardriver467 This is not the attitude towards our fellow man that veterans fought and died for. You are no better than the 3 people when you speak like that.
In tribute and honor to all our Vets and their loved ones. Veteran's Day/Remembrance Day, Memorial Day may come but once in the year, but everyday we give thanks 'n blessings for each 'n all of you who 'answered the calls' to stand up for us. Now it's our turn to Stand with you and do ours.
Beautiful Tribute my friend, As a Canadian and Military historian It's always nice to see things from our point of view no matter the hardships. Thank You.
My husband and I just came back from a trip to Canadian Battlefields and Beachheads in France and Belgium. It is a very sobering yet worthwhile voyage for anyone to make, to go and visit those who fought for our freedoms. So many young persons lost their lives so that we could live .... without fear.... with freedom. Thank you.
Welcome back to the official names of the the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), Canadian Army and Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). These titles have not been used since 1968 when the then Liberal government merged the Canadian Army, RCAF and RCN into one unified organization called the Canadian Forces striping the branches of their pre-1968 traditions and indites. The Cdn Army was called "Land Force Command", RCN called "Maritime Command" and the RCAF called "Air Command" from 1968 to Aug 16th 2011
If I could please remind people to click the "Like" button if you do like the video, I have a lot of anti military and very liberal YouTube profiles who like to click dislike and such.
very nicely done again Matthew ... I cannot believe your talent ... keep up the excellent work ... because of you - WE WILL NOT FORGET ANY OF THEM !!!
to those interested in this battalion or ww1 in general............................................................i have a photo ...old original fragile photo of this battalion that my grandfather gave me from his father. their are hundrend of men at niagra in this photo its about 6 feet long and 10 inces tall and it says "35th battalion-cef niagra camp 1915" if anyone is interested in a copy of this one of a kind i will get it coppied for only the cost of copy and shipping ... no proffit
@Jordan69CND I sure as hell you change your mind, Have you seen the terror of bullet holes piercing through your body and throwing you down to the ground.... motionless? If you were considering that, I'm sure you have seen Saving Private Ryan.
Always a great video and a great job mathew I hope that all the people in canada will remeber the sacrifice of all of these great people who fought for us.
I remember memorizing in grade school "In Flanders Fields". So many have and are dying to keep us free. Obamanation should be made to watch this video 3x a day.
