  • wow!! it was so genious to create this. it helped us a lot!!

  • what kind of paint did u use for saturn need to no by thursday hurry up

  • @fvj2020 I used FW acrylic paint, I mixed white with tan and brown, but please be creative, you can probably get the same or better effect trying out other colors. I encourage you try different things. Saturn is many colors, and there is no wrong color for it.

  • Too cool!! Love the creativity!! (Borrowing your popcorn idea, thanks!) =)

  • Pores**

  • I love this idea...what is the name of the product you used to smooth out the popes before painting

  • gt a 4th grade project

  • MAI GAWD O.O

  • That's brilliant. I have to make one for homework so I thought I'd watch this and it's quite useful.

  • This is so neat.

  • fantastic

  • I'm doing this project for my 4th grade daughter and I'm having a hard time with the rings so can u plz

explain it in details how you did it.

  • What paper is that? Well we used construction paper, or any thick cardboard made by Bristol brand will work, I hope this helps.

  • what paper is that ?

  • damn it i have a project due tommorow 1/20/12

  • It took about two weeks, only because of planning, once we got our supplies and ideas together the project took only a few hours to make

  • How long did it take to complete your project?

  • How do you do the ring around Saturn?

  • @stenbee101x you need a self laminating sheet the size depends on how big your ring needs to be. You need to draw, color (color one side only) and cut a full ring as thick as you need from a white piece of paper or cardboard, but it has to fit completely on top of the laminating sheet. Once you stick the ring on the self laminating sheet, then fold the sheet onto itself (fold in half). You should have half a ring covered in plastic on both sides, trim the sheet around, then review video.

  • u know its ur sons project

  • THE EARTH LOOKS SO REALiSTiC!

  • This is amazing!!! Also, can you give me some tips on how to paint the planets with details?

  • @l3thalboy98 tips: Plan ahead, choose colors, paint before assembly, type of paint and texture of the surface is important, this project could have easily been done with a plain brush, spray paint gives it a more even color; however some spray cans are not good for foam (they melt). When painting planets make sure the you are using the appropriate colors (NASA site has colorful pics of planets). That is all I can think of, just off the top of my head. Thanks for commenting on the project.

  • That is amazing well done

  • THAT WAS SOO HELPFUL Thank you so MUCH!

  • My cuz had a project on a solar system but it wasn't like this it was different

  • thats a nice model and thanks it helped me

  • Thank you so much, my daughter had fun making this for science project. I really appreciated all your info

  • @mgallardo0719 glad we could help!

  • nice bell lol 2:31

  • Whta type of ball material did you use,'cause I need some by this thursday

  • @restlingsuperfan12 just plain styrofoam balls with some sort of SOLID surface, otherwise the balls won't stick to the board, the bigger balls may be harder to find, that is why I coated mine with plaster of paris to give it a solid surface.

  • @Warstar30001 I'm toast

  • You didint study your solar system very well because 1. You forgot the 11th planet eris and that astroid belt is named cres

  • What are the size of the foam balls of each planet?

  • @All the people who are complaining about the video. Thats not the point.

  • thank you it help me alot for my 8th grade solar system project :)

  • What were the size of the foam balls

  • im just trying to say how to pronuce it :D not tryin' to be mean.

  • Where did you get your stuff from please tell me.

  • @MultiTheBros michaels, hobby lobby for the foam balls, plaster of paris from home depot may not be nessessary if you can get if can get large smooth foam balls, trifold from office max or any office supply store, paints supplies from any art store, popcorn from theatre floor, aluminum cans for the lettering (not really essential) you can get the same effect using aluminum foil. Art work from anywhere including science books

    hope this helps

  • ITS PRONOUCED YER-A-NUS! YOUR ANUS IS IN YOUR BODY!

    Thumbs up if agreed!

  • @flyfferboy3 he waz laughing at uranus! geez... i feel sory 4 the very unique planet we call uranus. It mught be better if something else, but sadly, its named after a roman god. it waz the only planet that spun on its side... sigh >:'^(

  • you said 5th grade then in description you said 6th

  • You did a great Job... I used the whole idea to help my 10 year old daughter do her science project..

  • awsome

  • what is the size of the styrofoam in saturn?

  • @gelgel0011 I think it was 4 inch ball, any craft store will have it

  • This is excellent, but what sized black card was the background?

    Many Thanks

    sullivan5719

  • @sullivan5719 not sure, it is just a standard size presentation board, i don't think there is much variety in sizes. But as long as it is black, it should work just fine, i would think.

  • this is the best solar system project i ever see!! congrat:)

  • What is 'plasto paris'can someone tell me please

  • @ANGELBAbY499 plaster of paris is something you mix with water, you make it as thick or as thin as you like, for this project you want to cover the pourous surface. You can buy it @ home depot it comes in a milk carton container.

  • Hey can u send a pitcher of that plz on a vidio response

  • @sophiesummers2001 unfortunately, the project has been dismantled, so it is in pieces and in storage. But if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer

  • well done I'm in 4th grade and I'm learning about the solar system by the way AWESOME drawings !!!!!!!
