  • AWE AWE AWESOME!!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting, super quality as the Boys deserve...

  • Rockin in Finland......the Finns are tough old birds! "Fly By Night"

  • They should have Rush bottled water

  • The vending machine amp.....awesome, I wonder what happened to his washing machine looking ones???

  • @CavemanJesus4Life Those aren't amps. Those are vending machines haha.

A while back Geddy changed the setup of his bass amps, and afterwards there was a lot of room on stage.

So, they put awesome funny stuff on there, like Vending machines, washing machines, rotisseries. Those sorts of things.

  • 1:14 SQUEEK

  • Clearly shot in Finland as the audience is glued to their seats. :D

  • GREAT Capture aud & Vid !!!!!

  • I've seen Rush in concert 37 times but not recently. They still look and sound fantastic. Bands now a days should take a lesson in what real music is.

  • @SkyHigh796 My band has!! :P I think............

  • I wish they come back after time machine tour cause i want to see them live! The audience was crap on the snakes & arrows tour at finland.

  • @Epic41241 Don't worry Epic, Rush is FOR SURE going to be touring next spring when clockwork angels comes out.

  • I think Subdivisions always sounds better live

  • Im going to see the Time Machine Tour on october 2nd, its going to be f*cking awesome!

  • Rush fucking rules!!!!!!!

  • Rakastan sinua Rush!

  • @stine0225 Kyllä!!!

  • I was there, beautiful night for us Finnish Rush fans. Come back again, we will be there... :)

  • does anyone know what they do with all those chickens roasting or are they props

  • @mysticradio Geddy Lee always uses props because he chooses not to use amplifiers like the guitarist and he doesn't want the stage to be empty :) He sometimes has vending machines and washing machines at shows as well.

  • @mysticradio See Rush official website - gives details for Geddy's "gear"

Great description of it !! :)

  • Rush is one of the few bands that doesn't leave you wishing you could go back in time and listen to or see how they were in concert 20-30 years ago b/c they lost their spark. Wherever they are in time, they are still the best. They perform these songs as amazingly now as they did back when they first came out. The feeling is still the same. Love you, Rush!!!!

  • @nutshellinchains Saw them last week - after not having seen them since "Permanent Waves". I must admit to wondering if this was the "Rogaine Tour" - even tried to get out of going and sell my tickets.

    Boy am I glad I didn't.

    Couldn't agree with you more.

  • When it is all said and done in great music "RUSH" will never be forgotten.

  • Amazing that after so many years of playing it sounds so fresh!

  • Come back to Finland please please please!!!

  • best band ever

  • @livemit

    That's so true!

  • @livemit MY DAD SAYS THERE NOT?!

  • @crazypenny94 your father may be the devil.

  • @taktikal24 ikr

  • they don't have a budget, they are the biggest Canadian band ever, i don't think an Amp company would make a product that Rush, or someone like Rush, couldn't afford

  • pure KILLER!!!!

  • by far, Rush's best song

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaahh!

this is the very best by them!!!

enigmatical song and hard to play live

  • Mä olin tuolla silloin, ensimmäinen konsertti elämässäni, aivan mahtava!

  • Rush sounds better live agree

  • I just realized lots of people are responding to the same question, but the responses arent lined up like replies. So, sorry about rehashing a bit of what was already said

  • Geddy Lee is God

  • At 1:53, is that Alex or Geddy? It sounds more like Alex on bass than Geddy on the synthesizer. It's a great take on perhaps the best part of the song. I'm a pilot and I listen to this song before EVERY flight. I only wish they would let me listen to it as i'm accelerating down the runway...what a rush (really, no pun intended).

  • Geddy is playing synth and bass (and singing). Totally cool.

  • geddy lee plays bass not alex

  • at 1:53, its a synth solo. alex plays the G, A, B chord progression under it AS well as playing those notes on his midi bass pedals

  • About your question for who is playing which part. Geddy is playing the keyboard solo and Alex is playing the rhythm guitar part. Geddy also has the ability to play bass notes with his feet if necessary on a huge keyboard-like instrument on the floor. I agree it's a GREAT part of the song, I love it

  • oh wait nvm gallien kruger amps r good

  • why can't alex just use marshall amps instead of these wierdo amps that blow up on him =p

  • them amps are triamps there are only 4 in existence nd alex has 3 he gave 1 to a 10 yr old boy

  • I don't think they're his amps that blow up on him. Hughes & Kettner are very high quality tube amps, they have as much chance to blow up as any other amp, Marshalls included.

The Behringer crap in his rack are to blame, those are awful, I don't know why he bothers with them.

  • Oli kyllä aivan helvetin hyvä keikka.

  • The audience has no energy! Try comparing this with Rush in Rio videos..lol.

  • You are 100% correct! Rush in Rio... so much better show!!

  • Rush in Rio is a good show, but for my money it's got to be R30 when they are in Frankfurt Germany.

  • rush is just awesome im sorry.. and geddy is wow :)

  • How does Alex sing/talk so low during the chorus...he sounds like he has a really high voice normally.

  • he's using a vocal processor that lowers the pitch and formant of his voice.

  • No, Alex is triggering a sample using his foot pedals. Watch his feet.

  • Good call KuzinRob, I thought that was only setup on Geddys side, I guess Alex does it too. Cool.

  • im seeing them in toronto in july, i hope they play this song

  • They will play it; it's one of Geddy's favorite songs. I hope to be there too in Toronto, trying to go if I can make the arrangements.

  • :D wooo its one of my favourites

do you think they will play "vital signs"? i like that song but it doesnt get much recognition

  • i just saw them last night. they havent lost a step. sorry but they will not play vital signs.. the actual setlist is on wikipedia if you want to ruin the fun.. otherwise you can just wait for the suprises that come.. and trust me... dont leave unless your 200 percent sure they are done.. my buddy left too early and missed three songs.. just letting you know

  • i've saw them in detroit they do. its freakin amzing live.

  • Awesome. Putting into my favorites. Audio is really good. I know we, my friends and I, paid close to $100 USD each to attend. Hardly think Rush will mind the recording. Just builds a following.

So glad my son got to experience the excellence: the incredible instrumentation and the deep lyrics. Rush is the absolute best rock band of a few generations! :)

  • Agree :D

  • I was so excited !

My dad and I paid about $70 CAN to go to our concert.

It was my first concert, one of the best times of my life ! =)
