  • Hey mate- where did you buy this cessna. I'm australian realy want one!

  • @tomedenton g'day mate i bought it from rc garage in melbourne, boronia. This ARF is very very heavy and it has gone to plane heaven due to a crash! It's like flying a brick!! Very tail-heavy which means you have to add a lot of weight up the front. I have learnt a lot about planes since i crashed this model and if i had a second shot at it i would do things differently. Not an easy model to fly!! Good luck mate.

  • @bruiserhzj Yeah i had a CMP Spitty and it needed alot of lead. I currently have a Great Planes Cessna 40 and it is by far my favourite plane, but i'm moving back to Australia and can't justify shipping it back. I also want a Gasser because i am done with nitro. Do you know of any cessna's that would support a gas engine.

  • Very, very nice job so far on your build! You have spent alot of time building this thing and you will be rewarded with a great flying aircraft!

What are you going to set your cg at? and what is the total weight going to be in pounds, oz? Mine weighs 14# on the button.

    J

  • @PC9JEFF thanks mate!! My cg is set at between 85-100mm as per the instructions. It balances well there with an empty tank so it's definitely not tail heavy anymore. I haven't weighed the plane yet but i will and i will let you know. These birds are not light as you said!!! I'm a bit nervous flying it because i've never had a plane this big and heavy before. See how we go.
