  • Go Spurs Go!!

  • fuck yeah SPURS FOREVER

  • The absolute best thing about truth is that somehow, something alway seems to surface, to prove your point. Now, the problem is, will people actually listen to truth, or will they continue to bury their heads in the sand because they refuse to acknowledge truth?

  • No matter what anyone says the Spurs are the champs. Get used to it

  • These negative comments can be summed up from what was taught to most of us in 1st grade: sore losers

"I never get the boardwalk in monopoly" "The sun was in my eyes" No fair! he practiced more than me!" "The ball was slippery" etc etc etc... every other team and fan of those teams that don't win will continue to moan and seethe in envy at the winning teams of the world....Man those 4 trophies sure do shine pretty!

  • It is not about "sore losers", it is about cheating to win at the cost of the sport itself. What good is a "championship" if you couldn't play fair to obtain it? What does it show the 1st graders, except that poor behavior is rewarded, and cheating is the best way to get what you want? That in itself is sad, and what is worse is that you think it is perfectly fine to cheat, just as long as your team is the benefactor. That speaks volumes about who you are.

  • The NBA has gone deep into the toilet. Too bad this so called "Championship" requires a big steriods asterisk next to it. What a shame the Spurs could not win it without dirty play. Cheap Shot Bob and Bruce Bowen will forever be a stain on the NBA. The sad part is guys like Duncan and Parker are dragged down by the dirty play of the others. How does it feel to wear a ring that smells from the taint of cheapness and foul play? What a wasted season.

  • Oh please. Any time players get a little aggressive, whether it's fair or foul, everybody screams for an asterisk. I can't even remember the last time somebody ever took notice of how much of a skidmark in David Stern's underpants Rasheed Wallace is. Are you sure players like Bowen and Horry will be the stain of the NBA? Or will it be Wallace, the world-record holder for technical fouls and arguments?

Sorry your team didn't win the title. Get over it.

  • I have no use for Wallace either. He is a stain on the NBA as well. The fact that they had to make a rule just for him speaks volumes.

  • Well I think that's something you and I can agree on.

  • You also have to agree that purposely stepping under players while in the air is criminal and should not be tolerated. Search youtube for the words "Bowen" and "Dirty" and you will see where he does this on a regular basis. The NBA gets worse as we condone bad behavior by players and celebrate "Championships" gained by questionable methods.

  • I agree that it's criminal and should not be tolerated, but Bowen doesn't do it intentionally. He gets a bad rap for being in awkward situations like that just like any other player. You couldn't possibly convince a Spurs fan that Bowen is a dirty player. His contributions to the San Antonio community are too invaluable. Hypocrisy of the fans is largely to blame.

  • Oh...I see...it is someone else's fault he plays like that. He doesn't do it on purpose...it just seems to happen with him a lot and it unfairly looks like he is doing it purposely, the way he hyper-extends his foot while another player is in the air. I guess you can justify just about anything if you try hard enough. Yeah, the fans, Santa, and the dreaded Easter Bunny are the culprits...right?

  • I'm not going to try to convince you that he's not a dirty player, that's obviously firmly set in your mind, but if you think you can try to argue that what Bowen does on the court is only designed to injure other players, good luck. Like I said, he's done too much for the city. And while you're at it, find me a player who doesn't make bad marks on the NBA with the way they play or complain.

  • "Doing for the city" is eyewash. PR stunts do not make a clean player. As for your challenge, that is not hard at all: How about Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Lamar Odom, Yao Ming, Dwight Howard and Derek Fisher...just to name a few...

  • I didn't say it made a "clean player". What I said is, you're not going to convince any Spurs fan that he's a dirty player. He HAS made contributions to this community, believe it or not based on what you consider him to be on the court, and seeing as how you make the same argument that everybody else tries to make, why should anyone else take you seriously? Especially since you proved my point - there are plenty of players out there that get away with all kinds of garbage.

  • If you are not taking me seriously, then why continue? The only point proven here is that you will justify anything as long as it benefits you.

  • I merely suggested that your argument is everything any Spurs fan has ever put up with concerning Bowen. And I'm not sure where you got the idea of benefitting myself, here, because all I did was say why you couldn't convince Spurs fans that he's a dirty player. You might as well be arguing that Tim Duncan is on steroids.

  • Or...I might as well try to convince people that the NBA referee's are corrupt. What is that you say? On the news? Today? An NBA ref going before a grand jury because he bet on games he was officiating on? Say it isn't so!!! I am sure Spurs fans will deny this ever happened too. Wake up man. I am not makign this up myself. This is no "vast right wing conspiracy".
