  • a slight bend is always a good idea, push ups, punching, kicking, jumping, doesn't matter- full extension transfers excess energy into the joint and causes damage over time.

  • yep, audio fail alright! Did this some time ago. I don't fully extend my arms. Always keep a slight bend. Yes, use a chair it does the same thing, but the straps swing you around so you need to stabilise. Do a search on TRX suspension straps to buy them!

  • so the higher elevation for push ups the better results on chest?

    if i put my feet on a chair to raise the elevation will that help alot?
